Training Levels

Training Levels

While CrossFit challenges the world’s fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience.  Our classes are programmed each day with this theory in mind.  Members choose to follow one of 3 different paths of Fitness depending on their overall goals and desires, and what they would like to receive from the CrossFit program.  Sometimes this means doing a combination of 2 different paths and that is also ok!  Our 3 Paths of Fitness make the CrossFit program welcoming for our newest members, yet also challenging for top tier athletes.

Level: Rx

Rx, (as prescribed), is a training path for advanced and elite athletes looking to compete in the sport of CrossFit or to be a top level competitor in the sport of their choice. Rx athletes have made the commitment to the CrossFit program and put in the extra work necessary to be the very best they can be. New members or experienced athletes joining the CrossFit program often work towards the Rx level of training as they grow into becoming an experienced CrossFitter.

Load and Intensity: High

Level: Performance

Performance is a training path for individuals that may have an interest in competing in CrossFit at a local level or using the CrossFit program to train in becoming a stronger marathon runner, soccer player, better police officier etc.  Athletes that choose the Performance program understand the importance of fitness in their everyday lives and enjoy being active and having fun while doing it!  The majority of our members follow the Performance and Fitness training program.  Every day moms, dads, ex-collegiate athletes, first responders or weekend warriors all just looking get more fit!

Load and Intensity: Moderate

Level: Fitness

Fitness is a training path for individuals looking to get stronger, healthier and more fit in order to live a long and happy life.  Those that follow the Fitness program may be new CrossFitters, may have never worked out a day in their life or are individuals interested in working out hard without having to perform high skilled movements such as the Snatch or Overhead Squat.  In fact, complex movements such as these will never be found in the Fitness program for that reason.  When we say there is something for everyone in CrossFit, this is exactly what we are referring to!

Load and Intensity: Light/Moderate
