Bar Path can be negatively effected from a poor hinge position in the hang.  This adds a sweeping element to the pull, rather than a vertical trajectory.    Bending the arms too early in the pull, results in poor timing between the upper and lower body effecting the speed and the smoothness of the movement.  Maintaining a proper hinge position while keeping the arms STRAIGHT until the final pull under the bar will help maintain a good bar path every rep of a hang clean.  Practice patience with those arms.  Send that bar up, not off those hips and out, and feel the difference in the movement.
