What Is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program developed to enhance an individuals competency at all physical tasks. We focus on cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. This philosophy works with what we call ‘functional movements’, or movements we experience in our everyday lives.  We target these movements in shorter, high-intensity cardiovascular sessions, eliciting a radically more effective training program and producing  nearly any desired fitness result.

 

Is CrossFit For Me?

Absolutely! Not only are top athletes using these methods to advance their strength and conditioning, but CrossFit has tested its methods on the sedentary, overweight, elderly, and every day folk only to find they were all met with the same success. CrossFit is a scalable fitness program for all levels. Your needs and Olympic athlete needs differ by degree, not kind.
