The WOD/Strength
- 'DT' In honor of US Air Force SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on February, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED.This Hero WOD was first posted on the CrossFit main site as the workout of the day for Tuesday, April 14, 2009, Since then, this WOD has been performed in different ways to include 'Double DT' and 'Heavy DT'. For those athletes that are able to move through this quickly, you will be shooting for 'Double DT'.
- For many, performing the regular Hero WOD, shooting for 5 Rounds will be plenty enough and will treat this as an AMRAP.
- The Jerk weight will get heavy quick. Use the 'strength' session to determine which weight is the best choice for you to use on the bar.
